The Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology (IIST) announces the 13th IIST Astronomy & Astrophysics School (IAAS2025), which will be held from June 30–July 9, 2025, at IIST. The school is open for students who are pursuing their M.Sc. Physics (who are completing their first year), Integrated M.Sc. (completing their 4th year), and B. Tech Engineering Physics (completing their 3rd year).
During the school, the basic astrophysical concepts will be introduced through a series of lectures. Apart from this, the students will also get a flavour of more advanced topics that are relevant to the frontline research areas in Astronomy & Astrophysics. Hands on data analysis sessions will be conducted on all days in the afternoon.
